The best thing we can do for now is to continue to stand by the conservative principles that Fred, and each of us live by.
I know there are a few that say they will stay home in November. I ask all of you... please do NOT sit out this election. Go and vote for the conservative House and Senate candidates as our future really depends on them. As far as the presidential election, I can only say what I will do. I am still going to vote for Fred, both in my upcoming primary, and in the general election. For me it comes down to voting for what I believe in, not towing the party line.
I was extremely insulted the other day when I got a pm email from a member of another forum that I participate in. This person told me, actually demanded, that I vote for the party because party affiliation was all that mattered. You can imagine the reply they got back. For 30 years I was a loyal party member, but no more. If we continue to vote for RINO's we will continue to get RINO's. And these RINO's are the reason why we are in such a mess now. All I can say at this point is.... do the right thing.

O.K. Fred it will be.. but make sure to tell the family come November they will have to ask specifically for a write-in ballot because he will no longer be on the machines and that did make it somewhat easier. Although there are still a few states that have "the pain of primaries" to go through so I guess I'll just start writing to those newspapers. Nitey-nite.
ps. David I'm not even going to ask which board it was. I had one with a mod that called me a paul supporter and thought about suing for defamation of character:) Give em heck!

I'm going to leave this forum up as long as I think people need a place to vent their frustrations, and as a place to plan for getting real conservatives elected to office.
There are other organizations being put together out there that are using this election fiasco to reorganize. I'm not willing to join any of them yet because I have yet to see one that has it's act together.
In the meantime, let's keep Fred in the forefront of our thoughts. Not to hope beyond hope that he can win, but as an inspiration for fighting anyone that wants to discredit conservative values.
