Now that Romney is out of the race, the write in campaign may have a second wind. Those voters are disenfranchised and need a place to go. We have until Nov to convince them that writing in Fred is the only true way to beat the Clinbomcain machine. What scares me is that some will be so angry with the party that they will leave and vote dem regardless. Several have already gone to that side. I'm sorry- but I just get this really creepy picture of Darth Vadar going "Come to the dark side. Together we will rule the galaxy."

Can we not use this to our advantage now with ALL the talk show people and get them to see that writing in Fred is the only way to keep McCain and the rest of the dems out? Yes, its uncouth to post after a post. Its like double dipping a chip, so sue me

Uncouth? Nah, I've done it myself at times. It's a little like talking to yourself and then answering.
With Romney dropping out (he says suspended) I cannot think how to best take advantage of it, but I am running around at blogs trying to figure it out.
If anyone has ideas, spit em out here!

I am new here. Just wanted to ask if anyone has heard that he is endorsing McCain? If he does, some of his supporters may need somewhere to go.

The general consensus on some sites is that he plans to pick it back up when people are not willing to vote McCain after he gets GOP backing.

There's a chance he may still be speaking at CPAC today and will likely say something then. I do not think he will be endorsing after W. Virginia, but who knows. Channel 350 if you have DirectTV

Hi nana! Actually, I think most all of his supporters need a place to go. His supporters were not mccainnites. Many were the disenfranchised hunter, tancredo, our dearly beloved fred, people. So they're all looking at options besides mccain. I'm afraid they'll use the options of staying home or voting dem. Those who are considering mccain see him as only a 4 year threat, but the damage that man could do in four years just at the supreme court level is frightening. It just really hurts that those who were supposedly "tru fredheads", opted to vote for romney and what for? Had they done the write-in thing we could have made a bigger mark on super tuesday.

Now let's see if Huck will drop out. If he does then maybe that would be good time for an independent run by Fred. Just a wish. Slate will be clean, except for McCain, and their convictions more clear. These are interesting times...and scary.

I have been making the rounds at some of the online blogs and posting write-in Fred quips. Although I'm in a minority at most of them (actually all of them), I have been getting a positive response from people. The ones that have resonded positively to me have stated gategorically that they would follow my lead. Keep pushing Fred to these people. The real Conservatives may see the light.

I dropped a note on Fox in a comment following their Romney drops presidential bid story. Mentioned I voted for Fred and something about blue ink on fingers- it finally got on after the moderators were sure I was'nt saying anything nasty about their beloved network. Didn't see any other Fred heads on there so please jump on board.

I believe it is time for the true conservatives to make a stand. I will be writing in Fred and I hope thousands and thousands more do (of course millions would be nice). We cannot vote for McCain >:(and a vote for the democrat would not send the same message to the Republican party. We want to get the message out there loud and clear that we are sick of what has become of our party (the party that is supposed to be the conservative party, the values and principles party). LET OUR VOICE BE HEARD!!!! Here is a link to an Interview with Ann Coulter about McCain, she makes a very valid point. www.newsmax.com/insidecover/ann_coulter/2008/02/04/69907.html?s=sp&promo_code=446F-1

Thanks for the link. I just posted there and left out any negative comments concerning Fox News. Even though Fox was partly responsible for the bad press Fred was getting. Obviously, I left a very pro-Fred comment!

I did a pro-Fred bit on the WaPo site. No big deal but there may be a couple bites, Go FrHeads!

Ain't it hilarious how the libs at wapo write as if they are high all the time? Oh, I forgot, they are!
